Blog 7: Getting Back to Business

Hello, Jesse here again.

I made green beans tonight. I also accidentally took my garbage down without pants on, which proves I don't quite know where I'm going with this story, but bare with me.

I've been moved into my new 'headquarters' for almost a month now. I lost about a week and a half to unpacking because in my mind, the place needed to look nice. No that the packing is done, it's time to find a schedule. That's where I sometimes fail.

Life gets busy. Sometimes I don't cook for myself, sometimes a best friend needs a ride home at 11:45 at night and other times the world gets you down. Hopefully, however, that is a thing of the past.

With the cooking I did tonight (the green beans mentioned above), I am trying to begin my positive attitude switch to a better scheduled life. It's been over a month since the last blog. That's unacceptable. Kijiji ads need to be posted, SEO needs to be done. It's a tough pill to swallow, but it's time to just do it. It's time to remember the Thomas Edison quote: Being busy does not always mean real work. The object of all work is production or accomplishment and to either of these ends there must be forethought, system, planning, intelligence, and honest purpose, as well as perspiration. Seeming to do is not doing. I better get to work.

Also, on a side note, always remember to wear pants while taking out the garbage.
